Who We Are

This policy explains how Bitech collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.bitech.id. Bitech is the brand of PT. Bitung Solusi Digital, a technology company based in North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information genuinely needed to operate this site. Specifically:

Language preference. A cookie named bitech-language stores your language choice for one year. It is created only after you yourself switch the language.

Information you choose to send. Project briefs are assembled inside your browser. This form transmits nothing to a Bitech server. When you pick WhatsApp or email, the brief is handed to that application and you send it to us directly.

Access logs. Our hosting infrastructure records IP address, browser type, and request time for operations, security, and troubleshooting.

Usage data. On the production site we use Google Analytics to understand page usage and LogRocket to help diagnose user-experience issues. Both process data under their own privacy policies.

We do not buy data from third-party sources, do not request device location access, and do not install advertising trackers.

No User Accounts

Important to know: www.bitech.id has no login system and does not ask you to create an account. The site keeps no user profile on our servers, so there is no account data for you to delete from our systems.

The only data stored on our side is the project correspondence you send through WhatsApp or email, plus the technical logs described above.

Legal Basis and Purpose

In line with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, we process information on the following grounds.

Your consent, given through the agreement you tick on the project brief form.

Performance of an agreement, to respond to the project requests you submit.

Legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and tax duties and security-log retention requirements.

Legitimate interests, such as maintaining site availability and security.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This site uses one first-party cookie to remember your language choice, and loads third-party analytics scripts in the production environment. The details are in the table below. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with the following recipients, as needed, and under confidentiality obligations.

Google Analytics, for page usage statistics, subject to Google's privacy policy.

LogRocket, to diagnose technical and user-experience errors, subject to LogRocket's privacy policy.

Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery network provider, which processes data technically for network availability and security.

Meta and WhatsApp, only if and when you yourself choose to send a brief through those channels. The content you compose in that application is subject to Meta's privacy policy.

International Data Transfers

Some of the recipients above process data outside Indonesia, including LogRocket, which operates in the United States, and Google Analytics, which may process data outside the region. Those transfers remain within the scope of each provider's own privacy policy and are governed by that provider's own safeguards.

You may withdraw your consent for this processing at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

How Long We Keep Data

We keep data only as long as it is needed for the purposes described here.

Language preference: one year from your last selection.

Project correspondence: two years from the last contact, or sooner once the matter is resolved. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Access logs: 30 days, unless a record is set aside longer to investigate a security incident.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, and to restrict processing and withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, send us a written request. You are also entitled to compensation if processing is not based on consent and you suffer loss, and you are entitled to the lawful data you have provided to us.

Your Rights as a Meta Platform User

Applications and services you obtain from Bitech outside www.bitech.id are governed by their respective developers' privacy policies, not by this document. www.bitech.id itself does not ask you to log in, does not link your Meta account, and does not receive data from Meta.

If you use the project brief form on this site, you may request deletion of that information at any time. The method and address are described on the Data Deletion page.

Information Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We also send security headers on every request, including content-type restrictions, a Referrer-Policy limiting cross-site referrer data, a refusal to be framed, and restrictions on camera, microphone, and location access.

No transmission method is completely secure. We take reasonable and ongoing steps to protect your information.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you learn that a child has provided us with information, contact us promptly so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when the way the site works changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page, and material changes will be announced on the site.
